Code of Practice

School Based Employment Services Qld personnel are duty bound to observe it's principal employer organisation code of practice covering:
Professional Conduct - Managers, Field Staff and Administration Staff must act in a professional and ethical manner, meeting the needs of the organisation, the host employer and the trainee while protecting the rights of all parties. This includes being objective, independent, honest, constructive and diligent.
Conflict of Interest - Managers, Field Staff and Administration Staff must disclose actual, perceived and potential conflicts of interest, being information that may limit their capacity to make unbiased judgements when undertaking their workplace tasks.
Confidentiality and Intellectual Property - Managers, Field Staff and Administration Staff must not disclose any information relating to Host Employers, Trainees, or School's activities except where they are reporting to the Department of Education, Training and Employment, or under applicable law, or where authorised in writing by the Host Employer, Trainee, School or the Department. In addition, Managers, Field Staff and Administration Staff must take reasonable steps to protect intellectual property ownership and any commercial in confidence information or material relating to the operations of School Based Employment Services Qld.

Accountability - Managers, Field Staff and Administration Staff must act in a way that will not prejudice the reputation of School Based Employment Services Qld, and must fully co-operate with any subsequent inquiries relating to a complaint being made or outcomes from continuous improvement processes.
